A Tradition of Recovery
Since 1976, the San Fernando Valley AA Convention has been a cornerstone of recovery in Southern California. Each year, thousands gather for a weekend of shared experience, strength, and hope.
Whether you're celebrating decades of sobriety or just beginning your journey, you'll find a warm welcome here. Our convention features AA and Al-Anon speaker meetings, marathon sessions, hospitality rooms, and countless opportunities to connect with fellow travelers on the road of recovery.
Open to All in Recovery
While rooted in Alcoholics Anonymous, we welcome participation from Al-Anon Family Groups and anyone seeking recovery and fellowship. Our event is self-supporting through registration fees and fundraising, in keeping with AA's 7th Tradition.
More Than an Event
SFV Convention, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by dozens of dedicated committee members. We're committed to transparency, service, and carrying the message of recovery to all who seek it.
